Tip for slaughtering<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
Ducks in moult (change of feathers) are very difficult to pluck, so it is advisable to take a close look. 3 weeks after the moulting starting point (you can recognize this by the many downy feathers that are then suddenly lying in the coop\/run), wait another 4 weeks and the small new feathers will be big enough to be plucked easily! The 1st moult takes place between the 8th and 11th week (depending on the weather and feed).<\/p>\n
