It signals the special value of products that come from sustainable and responsible animal husbandry. With an annual contribution of €150, you can use the ÖTZ product seal on all ÖTZ products.

From 2025, the product seal will be reserved exclusively for farmers. This means that you decide for yourself where your ÖTZ products are marketed - whether via the farm store, the Regiomat, Edeka, Rewe, the CSA, the organic food store or the organic wholesaler.

The 1-cent seal is a promotional seal that was created on the initiative of a number of committed entrepreneurs from the Bundesverband für Naturkost und Naturwaren e.V. (BNN) The sponsoring traders are convinced that organic breeding is needed to ensure a future for farm animal husbandry.

For every organic egg sold, 1 cent goes to the ÖTZ - a small contribution with a big impact.

Who can use the 1-cent seal:
All retailers and processors who support the ÖTZ as part of the 1-cent campaign and are members of the BNN.
